Joseph Aloba, father of late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad, has distanced himself from individuals who claimed to be his lawyers and appeared in court without his consent.

Aloba, who made this known in a statement yesterday, said he did not authorise any legal representation aside from the legal team hired by his family.

The statement signed by a member of the legal team, Monisola Odumosu, stated that the disclaimer became necessary after someone paraded himself on social media and identified himself as a counsel acting on behalf of Mohbad’s father.

Odumosu quoted Aloba as saying that anyone or group seeking to take any action about Mohbad’s case must seek the consent and approval of his legal team.
