On Sunday, February 16, Espresso singer Sabrina Carpenter captivated the audience at SNL’s 50th Anniversary Afterparty at The Plaza Hotel in New York City with a mix of classic hits across genres.
Swapping her earlier glittery gown for a chic white mini-dress and fur shrug, the 25-year-old took the stage, delivering a soulful rendition of Miss You by The Rolling Stones. A TikTok clip showed comedian Dave Chappelle seated nearby, casually smoking as he enjoyed the performance.
Carpenter radiated energy as she danced and engaged with the crowd, later leading an enthusiastic singalong to Madonna’s Like A Virgin. Fans also shared clips on X of her heartfelt performance of At Last by Etta James, during which she was joined by actresses Jenna Ortega, Emma Stone, and Kristen Wiig.

Before starting the song, she invited them to the stage, guiding them through dance moves. Pouring emotion into every note, she dropped to her knees before rising again, closing with the powerful lyrics, “Life is like a song,” as her group swayed in unison behind her.
