Purp has won the 2025 edition of Nigerian Idol, becoming the tenth overall winner of the reality music competition. The announcement was made during the grand finale on Sunday, as fans took to social media to celebrate the outcome.

Purp beat out Raymu to earn the top spot after a series of vocal battles, live shows, and public votes. 

The victory secures Purp a recording deal, cash prize, and other rewards, in line with the show’s tradition.
