Nigeria’s Flamingos earned a 4-0 win over Ecuador on Saturday to reach the quarter-finals of the 2024 FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup in Dominican Republic in style.
With the 4-1 win over New Zealand in their first match last Wednesday, the Flamingos have now gathered the maximum six points in their first two matches ahead of their final group phase encounter against host nation Dominican Republic on Tuesday.
The Flamingos will take on the host nation on Tuesday night in their final group phase game, but a place in the last eight is already assured.
