Nigeria Football Federation has denied it held talks with French tactician, Herve Renard, for the vacant Super Eagles coaching job.
The dismissal comes after reports emerged that the Federation was in contact with Renard to lead the Super Eagles.
The NFF are in the hunt for a new head coach for the Super Eagles following Finidi George’s resignation, a few weeks ago.
A new coach is expected to be in place before the start of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
The Super Eagles are second-bottom of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying group without a win and four points off the top two.
