Funke Akindele’s recently released movie, ‘Everybody Loves Jenifa’, has shattered box-office records with ₦206 million in its opening weekend. 

According to a social media post by the film distributors, the move broke the record of Nollywood’s highest-grossing one-day performance with ₦87.8 million. 

With a mix of comedy, drama, and some unexpected twists, the film stars Falz, Omotunde ‘Lolo’ Adebowale-david, Olayode Juliana, Chimezie Imo, Layi Wasabi, Bisola Aiyeola, Jackie Appiah, and Omowunmi Dada
