Super Eagles caretaker coach, Augustine Eguavoen, is optimistic that the team will secure a place at the 2024 African Nations Championship when they battle the Black Galaxies for a place at the competition.

Both countries battled to a 0-0 draw in the first leg of the qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.

The reverse fixture will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo tomorrow Saturday and the overall winners will advance to the CHAN 2024.

Meanwhile, CAF has appointed Moroccan official, Hamza El Fariq as centre referee for the Saturday 2024 CHAN qualifier between Nigeria and Ghana.
