Chioma Adeleke, wife of singer Davido, paid tribute to their late son Ifeanyi on Thursday, nearly three years after his passing.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Chioma shared photos of her wedding bouquet, which included a pinned image of Ifeanyi. “My best friend walked me into forever…. Ify, you’re on my mind every day and you live in my heart. Always and forever. Love, mummy,” she wrote.
Davido, who wore cufflinks engraved with Ifeanyi’s image during their wedding, replied simply: “Till Infinity.”
Ifeanyi, the couple’s first child, died at age three in October 2022 after drowning at the family’s Banana Island home in Lagos. The tragedy drew widespread sympathy across Nigeria and beyond.
Davido and Chioma recently concluded their wedding journey with a lavish white ceremony in Miami on August 10, 2025, following a court wedding in March 2023 and a traditional ceremony in June 2024.
