China is set to welcome more visitors with a new visa-free policy. 

Starting June 1st, citizens from five Latin American countries – Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Uruguay – will be allowed to stay in China for up to 30 days without a visa. 

This one-year trial program aims to strengthen ties between China and Latin America, promoting cultural and economic exchange. 

China has also expanded visa-free access to several other countries in recent times.
