Comedian Zicsaloma, whose real name is Isaac Aloma, revealed that he didn’t pay for his recent rhinoplasty in Turkey.

In a YouTube video posted on Friday, he explained that the procedure was part of a collaboration with the hospital. “I wouldn’t call it free, but I only paid for my visa and flight,” he said. Along with the nose job, he also had a slight eye lift.

Zicsaloma discovered the hospital through Instagram and TikTok, noting they had previously worked with a Black patient. When he inquired about the cost, the hospital proposed a collaboration due to his large following. After researching the doctor, he learned that consultation fees ranged from $300 to $400, while rhinoplasty cost $5,000–$6,000, and eye rejuvenation or a facelift cost about $2,500 each. However, he didn’t have to pay for his consultation.

During a video call, the doctor reassured him about the risks, explaining that complications were rare and could be corrected if necessary. Zicsaloma requested an “ethnic rhinoplasty” to maintain his African features.

He traveled alone to Turkey on January 23, 2025, and had the surgery the next day. Since then, some critics have accused him of having low self-esteem. He admitted he was insecure about his nose, recalling childhood ridicule from his siblings.

He argued that everyone has insecurities, but many don’t address them due to financial barriers or fear of judgment. “Just because you can’t change something doesn’t mean you should criticize those who do,” he said.

Zicsaloma stated that final results would take up to two years to fully settle. Responding to critics who commented on his forehead or mouth, he firmly said he had no issues with them. “I only disliked my nose, especially my side profile in videos. That has changed now, and I won’t get addicted to surgery.”

Regarding concerns about his future children inheriting his old nose, he dismissed them, saying they might like it or that he might adopt instead. “Leave my children out of it,” he concluded.
