A woman has sued Sean “Diddy” Combs, accusing him of sexually assaulting her after a 1999 party in New York City.

According to the lawsuit, the woman, then 23 and working as a model and promotional employee, attended a VIP event that Combs hosted. She met him at the party, and later that night, he invited her to stay at his home so she wouldn’t have to worry about catching a train.

She told Combs she was married, and he assured her that nothing inappropriate would happen. However, after getting into his car, she started feeling extremely drowsy and suspected he had drugged her. She noticed pieces of mail in the car and discreetly texted the address to her husband. The driver saw her doing this and tried to move the mail out of sight.

When they arrived at Combs’ home, he helped her inside and pressured her to drink more alcohol. She says he then led her to a bed and made unwanted advances. Despite reminding him that she was married and had sent his address to her husband, she claims he continued groping her and penetrated her with his fingers for several hours.

Combs’ legal team denied the accusations, stating, “No matter how many lawsuits people file—especially those who refuse to attach their names—it doesn’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never engaged in sexual assault or sex trafficking. The judicial system exists to uncover the truth, and Mr. Combs feels confident he will clear his name.”

Several women have accused Combs of sexual misconduct, but he has denied all allegations. He remains in custody in New York after authorities indicted him on sex trafficking, racketeering, and prostitution-related charges. A judge recently denied his bail, and he has pleaded not guilty.
