Wizkid has achieved another milestone as his latest single, “Kese,” set a new record for the highest opening-day streams on Spotify Nigeria, with 1.5 million streams.

This surpassed the previous record held by his song “Piece of My Heart” featuring Brent Faiyaz, which had 1.016 million streams. Additionally, Wizkid set the record for the most opening-day streams by an African artist on Spotify, further cementing his status as one of Africa’s biggest stars.

He now holds the top four spots on the list of top 10 songs with the biggest first-day streams on Spotify Nigeria.
