At the end of April, Kampala will host the third Malembe Block Party, which will feature singer Victony as the featured performer.

Real name Anthony Ebuka Victor, Victory has amassed a devoted fan base thanks to successes like “Soweto,” “Kolomental,” “Apollo,” and his most recent single, “Everything.”

His popularity in the Afrobeats genre was further cemented by his duet with Patoranking on “Babylon”.

His performance was first confirmed in March when Malembe Lifestyle announced the 23-year-old singer as the headliner for their upcoming Block Party.

The Malembe Block Party is known for bringing popular Afrobeats artists to Uganda.

The inaugural event in 2019 featured WSTRN and Joeboy, while the 2022 edition saw a performance by UK group NSG. This year’s iteration, scheduled for April 27 at Lugogo Hockey Grounds, will be headlined by Victony.

Although the lineups for the opening artists and DJs have not yet been announced, Malembe Lifestyle, the organisers, has a track record of putting together amazing events.
