Social media activist VeryDarkMan and Afrobeat musician Seun Kuti on Thursday paid a dramatic tribute to late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, performing a symbolic ram sacrifice at his gravesite.

The duo visited the site to honour Fela’s enduring legacy as a fearless musician and revolutionary activist. Videos from the visit quickly circulated online, showing moments of reflection, prayers, and cultural rites carried out in remembrance of the music icon.

Seun Kuti, who continues his father’s legacy as bandleader of Egypt 80, described the act as a spiritual and cultural gesture rooted in African tradition.
