President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Nigeria’s musical talents nominated for the 2024 Grammy Awards.

The nominees are Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide, Tems, Asake, and Ayra Starr.

Tinubu celebrated the musical artistes who have put Nigeria on the chart of cultural command through their artistry and for their fidelity to the art, audacity, and discipline in the pursuit of excellence.

He said that disposition has earned the nation enormous soft power across the globe, and he was proud of their exploits.

Recall that Nigeria’s nominees lost the’Best African Music Performance’ trophy to South-African singer Tyla who earned the prize with her 2023 track, “Water”.
