It was a riveting night of passion and African-themed elegance, as the popular Cinderella story was retold in a movie titled: “Tarella: Princess of the Nile”, inspired by its original African heritage.

The African fantasy movie, written and directed by Nigerian radio presenter and Filmmaker, Lolo Eremie, premiered at the Silverbird Galleria, Lagos, and will be released into cinemas nationwide from Friday, February 7.

One of the cast members, Elvina Baby Ibru, shared her thoughts about the romance story which explores the complexities of love, loyalty, and the power of timing.

Some of the exclusive screening viewers also shared their thoughts about the movie.

The film features renowned actors like: Richard Mode Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Okawa Shaznay, Gideon Okeke, Nengi Rebecca Hampson, William Benson,  among others.
