The Super Eagles lost their final AFCON qualification game against Rwanda yesterday.
The match ended 2-1 in favour of the Amavubi’s in the game played at the Godswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.
Rwanda had never beaten Nigeria in any competitive tournament before this encounter.
The Super Eagles finished the qualification campaign with 11 points, and had already qualified for the Final 2025 AFCON Qualifier
Rwanda, on the other hand, celebrated their landmark victory, which will undoubtedly boost their confidence going forward, but the missed out on AFCON.
