Pittsburgh Steelers’ player Jones, who tackled Aaron Rodgers during last week’s game, says he plans to do it again after Rodgers threw a 68-yard touchdown. The 24-year-old admitted Rodgers was upset but said it’s all part of the intense nature of football.
Rodgers, now with the Jets and in his 21st NFL season, showed frustration after the hit, but both players share mutual respect and have encouraged each other to “keep the fire.”
The Steelers and Rodgers’ former team, the Green Bay Packers, face off Sunday, Oct. 26, in Pittsburgh. If the Steelers win, Rodgers will become the fifth quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 teams.
