Snoop Dogg has disclosed that his latest Instagram post was merely a promotional campaign for a Solo Stove smokeless fire pit, following his earlier tease to fans about quitting smoking. Following the news, fans went to social media to admit that the rapper had deceived them.

Regarding Snoop’s original announcement, he captioned a photo of himself with the message, “After much consideration and conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke. Please respect my privacy at this time.”

He said on Monday that it was only a small portion of a larger collaboration. He revealed in a video, “I’m giving up smoke. I have an announcement.” “I know what you thinking: ‘Snoop, smoke is kinda your whole thing.’ But I’m done with it. Done with the coughing and my clothes smelling all sticky-icky. I’m going smokeless.” From there, he reveals the smokeless fire pit.

“Solo Stove has since announced that Snoop Dogg will be their official ‘smokesman,’ in support of the company’s quest to eliminate smoke from backyards everywhere,” the firm said in a press release that was shared with CNN.
