Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders had his home broken into on Sunday, Nov. 16 — the same day he made his NFL debut against the Baltimore Ravens, according to multiple outlets. Sanders was at Huntington Bank Field when the break-in occurred, and authorities have not confirmed whether anything was stolen or identified suspects.

Sanders entered the game in the second half after Dillon Gabriel was placed in concussion protocol, completing 4 of 16 passes for 47 yards with one interception in the Browns’ 23–16 loss. Coach Kevin Stefanski said Sanders will start next week if Gabriel remains sidelined.

Sanders is the latest in a string of athletes targeted during games. Over the past year, more than a dozen pro players — including Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow, and Cam Jordan — have had their homes burglarized.

The NFL previously warned teams about organized groups tracking athletes’ public schedules. Several Chilean nationals were charged earlier this year in connection with burglaries targeting high-profile NFL and NBA players, with more than $2 million in valuables allegedly stolen.
