Head coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Jose Peseiro has vowed that his team will not let up when they play Guinea Bissau later today, despite already being well positioned to advance to the round of 16 at the ongoing AFCON tournament.
Speaking at the pre-match conference, Peseiro said his team must temper its confidence and put in more work as required, and not rest, as the aim is to take first place in the group.
In the important match at 6:00PM today, which will mark Nigeria’s 100th appearance at the Africa Cup of Nations since 1963, group stage, the Super Eagles will top group A with a win, provide Equatorial Guinea, also on four points, falter against host nation Cote D’Ívoire.
