Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has refused to rule out Stanley Nwabali from the side’s quarter-final fixture against Angola.

Nwabali sustained a knee injury in Nigeria’s 2-0 victory against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon last Saturday, and was replaced by Francis Uzoho 10 minutes from time.

The Chippa United shot stopper sat out training on Monday night, but Peseiro told reporters he is hoping Nwabali will be available for the next game as he will undergo another test on Wednesday,

The Super Eagles will take on the Palancas Negras of Angola at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium, Abidjan on Friday.
