The 2024 Nigeria Arm wrestling Open Championship will take place on December 19, at the National Stadium, Surulere.

President of the Nigeria Arm wrestling Federation, Samuel Jackson, who confirmed the date, said this year’s championship is dedicated to the memory of Dapo Sotuminu, the late Media Director of the federation, and to honor all athletes and stakeholders who have supported the growth of arm wrestling in Nigeria.

Jackson emphasized that the tournament will serve as a platform to promote arm wrestling, nurturing talent, and uniting enthusiasts from across the nation.
