Nicole Scherzinger is apologizing to fans after her Oct. 6 concert at London’s Royal Albert Hall began 45 minutes late.
The 47-year-old singer told The Sun she was “devastated” to learn about the delay, explaining it was caused by a timing mix-up. “I thought my show was due to start at 8 p.m., but fans were told to be seated at 7:15,” she said. “I would be frustrated too.”
Scherzinger added that she was managing last-minute show details and a meet-and-greet, leaving little time for soundcheck. “I was just trying to make it the best show I could,” she said.
Despite the late start, fans stayed and ended the night dancing. “I want to thank them for their patience and generosity,” she shared.
The Royal Albert Hall performance marked Scherzinger’s first major U.K. solo show in 13 years, featuring show tunes and Pussycat Dolls hits like “Buttons” and “Don’t Cha.” The Tony winner recently wrapped her acclaimed Broadway run in Sunset Blvd., calling it a career-defining moment.
