The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have confirmed that Augustine Eguavoen will continue in his role as Head Coach of the Super Eagles.
A statement by Ademola Olajire, NFF’s Director of Communications on Thursday confirmed that the federation had Eguavoen and the current technical crew which includes Fidelis Ilechukwu, Daniel Ogunmodede, Olatunji Baruwa and Tomaz Zorec, would continue to work together, and will also take charge of the Super Eagles B team for the qualifying campaign for the 2025 African Nations Championship, otherwise known as CHAN.
Olajire added that the Executive Committee also approved Coach Justin Madugu to lead the Senior Natonal Women’s Football team, together with the remaining technical crew, Super Falcons, pending the appointment of a substantive Head Coach.
The Super Falcons’ next big engagement is the Women Africa Cup of Nations finals, taking place in Morocco in the summer of 2025.
