BHM and ID Africa have announced that registration is now open for NECLive 2025, set to hold on Friday, November 28, 2025, at the Landmark Event Centre, Lagos.
Now in its twelfth edition, the Nigerian Entertainment Conference (NECLive) remains West Africa’s premier gathering for the creative and entertainment industry, bringing together policymakers, investors, professionals, and emerging talent to shape the future of Africa’s creative economy.
Under the theme “Powering Africa Through Creative Enterprise,” NECLive 2025 will explore how the continent’s creative potential can drive sustainable economic growth.
Since 2013, NECLive has hosted 500+ industry experts, 100,000+ participants, and facilitated 1,000+ partnerships, reaching audiences in 50+ countries and over 100 million people globally.
Nigeria’s creative sector anchored by Nollywood and Afrobeats now contributes 2.3% to GDP (over $4.2 billion annually). However, challenges such as infrastructure gaps, limited funding, weak IP protection, and distribution constraints continue to hinder progress.
“We’re witnessing unprecedented global recognition for African creativity,” said Ayeni Adekunle, Founder and Convener of NECLive. “This year’s conference is about building the structures, policies, and business frameworks that can turn this momentum into sustainable economic power for Africa.”
What to Expect at NECLive 2025
The 2025 conference will feature policy dialogues, business workshops, networking sessions, innovation showcases, and live performances.
Confirmed speakers and performers include Steve Babaeko, Audu Maikori, Mike Dada, Colette Otusheso, Ojoma Ochai, Obi Asika, Moses Babatope, John Ugbe, Chris Ihidero, Fisayo Fosudo, and more.
The event will be hosted by Bolanle Olukanni and Tee A, and supported by MultiChoice Nigeria, MTN Nigeria, First Bank, The Macallan, X3M Ideas, and media partners Beat FM and Lagos Talks FM.
