Meghan Markle has postponed the release of her new Netflix show, With Love, Meghan, originally scheduled for January 15, following the devastating wildfires in her hometown of Los Angeles.
On January 12, the Duchess of Sussex announced the premiere would be pushed to March 4, expressing concern for those affected by the disaster. Meghan and Prince Harry recently volunteered in Pasadena to support victims of the Eaton Fire.
An industry source shared that the decision was driven by Meghan’s compassion for her community. “Postponing the show was likely an easy choice for her,” the insider said. “It’s difficult to celebrate joy and hosting when so many in her home state are facing such loss.”
The move has been widely praised, though some critics questioned her motives. Supporters point to her genuine concern for those impacted, emphasizing the human response to a shared tragedy.
