Manchester City showed their champions’ mettle as they came from behind to beat Luton 2-1 and register their first Premier League win in a month.
The treble winners came on a run of four league games without a win and were without striker Erling Haaland due to a bone injury.
Meanwhile, it was two goals for Everton as Sean Dyche’s side pulled further away from the relegation zone with a 2-0 win over a blunt Chelsea side at Goodison Park and Fulham followed up their thumping midweek 5-0 win over Nottingham Forest by thrashing West Ham by the same scoreline at Craven Cottage on Sunday.
