Lagos State Government says the ground breaking ceremony for the redevelopment and revitalisation of Alaba Rago Transnational Market is aimed at fostering socio-economic growth in the state.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu who was represented by his Special Adviser on Enterprise Geographic Information Service and Urban Development, Dr. Olajide Babatunde, said his administration is dedicated to rebuilding the Alaba Rago Market to make it a 21st century economy.
The Governor said owners of properties which were demolished would be the ones that would benefit from the redesigned Alaba Rago Transnational Market when completed.
He asked the traders to cooperate with the state government in its transformative plans of the market.
