Lagos State and the Canadian Government, seek deeper trade relationships between both countries especially in areas of innovation, science and technology.
While receiving Canada’s new Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr Carlos Roja-Arbulu, at the State House in Marina, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu asked the Canadian High Commissioner to take advantage of the numerous business opportunities and take business risks in Lagos and explore more opportunities.
Responding, Roja-Arbulu, said the aim of the visit was to strengthen Canada’s long-standing relationship with Nigeria, recognising Lagos State as a key driver of the partnership.
