The organised Labour is demanding the upward review of retirement age for all categories of civil servants, as well as payment of all outstanding allowances, pensions and gratuities across the nation.

Addressing workers at the May Day celebration in Eagle Square, Abuja, NLC National President, Joe Ajaero, said it was imperative to extend the revised retirement age of 65 years or 40 years of service currently enjoyed by teachers, health professionals, and judges to all public servants.

The organised Labour also demanded the immediate reduction of the telecommunication tariff from 50 percent to 35 percent and salary adjustment that is commensurate to the current economic realities in the country.

It asked President Tinubu to immediately reverse what it described as the unconstitutional suspension of Rivers State Government via a state of emergency.
