Acclaimed Nigerian filmmaker Kemi Adetibai has released the first trailer of her gripping new crime drama series, To Kill A Monkey, premiering on Netflix on July 18. 

This marks her first major project since her popular King of Boys universe.

The 8-part series, created, directed, and written by Kemi, follows the emotional and dangerous journey of two longtime friends whose reunion spirals into a world of cybercrime, power, and personal loss. 

William Benson plays Efemini, a struggling man trying to make ends meet, while Bucci Franklin plays his friend, whose fast-paced, flashy lifestyle hides darker secrets.

Joining Benson and Franklin is an impressive cast, including Stella Damasus, Bimbo Akintola, Chidi Mokeme, Ireti Doyle, Lilian Afegbai, and Teniola Aladese.
