An Indiana woman, Nathalie Rose Jones, 50, has been arrested after allegedly threatening to assassinate U.S. President Donald Trump. Authorities say Jones posted a violent threat on Facebook—tagging the FBI—before traveling from New York to Washington, D.C., with the stated intent to “sacrificially kill” the President.

Federal investigators revealed that Jones had a history of inflammatory posts, calling Trump a terrorist and blaming him for pandemic-related deaths. She now faces federal charges, including threats against the President and transmitting threats across state lines.

DC U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro condemned the act, vowing swift prosecution. The case is being led by the U.S. Secret Service and Assistant U.S. Attorney Josh Satter.
