Nigerian music star Ice Prince Zamani has been remanded in prison following the absence of the witness in his case. During the trial on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, the prosecution’s lawyer asked the court to adjourn the case, citing the absence of his two witnesses.

Ice Prince was arrested for allegedly abducting and threatening to throw an officer into the river, after he was stopped for driving without a license.

The court had earlier granted the rapper bail in the sum of N500,000 and asked him to provide “two responsible sureties”, to which his lawyer Folarin Dalmenida had presented to the court.
