Ghana has qualified for the 2026 World Cup by defeating Comoros 1-0 in Accra, with Mohammed Kudus scoring the winning goal.

The victory made Ghana Group I champions and the fifth African nation to qualify, joining Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Despite dominating possession early, Ghana broke the deadlock just after halftime. The win served as sweet revenge for past losses to Comoros in previous qualifiers.

The Black Stars finished the group with 25 points from 10 matches, securing their fifth World Cup appearance since their 2010 quarter-final run.
