Nigerian filmmaker and actress Funke Akindele has announced the launch of her film production house. She announced the formal launch of the Funke Akindele Network in an Instagram post. indicating further that the business would oversee all aspects of film productions, characterizing it as a 360-degree media house.

She also disclosed that the production company FAAN is behind the upcoming film A Tribe Called Judah and also produced the 2022 movie Battle on Buka Street.

Akindele’s comedy-drama Battle on Buka Street, which debuted on Prime Video earlier this year, went on to become the highest-grossing Nollywood film ever in 2022 with ₦640 million.
