American rapper P Diddy, whose real name is Sean Combs, has settled amicably with his ex-girlfriend Cassie on the rape and assault charges levied against him.

Diddy also provided a statement to the news outlet announcing that they decided to settle their case out of court. 

Cassie, whose full name is Casandra Ventura, had demanded $30 million in damages, alleging that her on-and-off relationship with the rapper, which lasted for a decade, was riddled with physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. 

She revealed that within those years she was forced to participate in sexual encounters with male prostitutes as Diddy watched, masturbated, and recorded videos, all of which Diddy’s attorney denied, calling her attempts a cash grab.
