Kevin De Bruyne bid an emotional farewell to the Etihad Stadium as Manchester City beat Bournemouth 3–1 in their final home game of the season.

De Bruyne missed a golden chance to score on his 142nd and final home league appearance, but left the pitch to a standing ovation in the 69th minute.

The win moves City up to third, needing just a point at Fulham on Sunday to secure Champions League football.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 4–2 at Selhurst Park, just days after lifting the FA Cup for the first time in the club’s history.

The win ensured Palace fans partied with inflatable trophies as chants of “We’re going to Europe” rang out — with Europa League qualification already secured.
