After weeks of testimony, closing arguments begin Thursday in the high-profile trial of Sean “Diddy” Combs, who faces life in prison if convicted.
Prosecutors allege Combs led a decades-long criminal enterprise involving sex trafficking, bribery, arson, and witness tampering. Key accusations include coercing women, including singer Cassie Ventura and another identified as “Jane,” into drug-fueled sex acts with escorts.
Diddy denies all charges, with his lawyers claiming relationships were consensual and that witnesses were motivated by money or envy.
The jury heard from 34 witnesses, including former employees, escorts, and a hotel guard who claimed he was bribed. Evidence includes messages, video footage, and financial records such as CashApp payments and flight bookings.
Combs did not testify. His defense focused on discrediting the prosecution’s case and emphasizing messages suggesting consent.
