In a new interview, she revealed that the multiple Grammy winner is facing new challenges controlling certain muscle movements.

Speaking to newsmen, Claudette expressed the family’s pain over this recent development, but stressed that Celine is determined to work towards returning to her career.

This update comes a year after Celine announced her diagnosis of the rare neurological disorder, Stiff Person Syndrome, which is characterised by painful muscle spasms and stiffness. The rare illness forced Celine Dion to indefinitely postpone her highly anticipated Courage World Tour earlier in the year.
