CAF Champions League Quarter-Finals Journey mapped out

The 2023/2024 CAF Champions League quarter-finals draw was concluded on Tuesday in Cairo, Egypt with interesting outcomes as Tanzania’s Simba SC will be looking to stun record holders, Al Ahly SC of Egypt.

The first quarter-final fixture sees Tanzanian giants, Simba FC, going against competition record holders, Al Ahly SC, TP Mazembe will welcome Angola’s Atletico de Petroleos to Lubumbashi in the first leg before travelling to Luanda for the return fixture.

Esperance Sportive de Tunis, are up against Asec Mimosas, and the last quarter-final fixture sees another Tanzanian giant, Young Africans, take on South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns.

Nigeria’s surviving clubside in the CAF Competition, Rivers United of Port Harcourt, will square off in the quarter-finals of the 2023/2024 CAF Confederation Cup against reigning champions, USM Alger.

The Port Harcourt-based club will host their Algerian counterparts in the first leg on March 29, before travelling to Algeria to face the champions in the return leg on April 7.
