Grammy-winning music star Burna Boy and billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote have been named among the 2025 ‘100 Most Notable Peace Icons in Africa.’ 

The list was unveiled at a news conference in Abuja yesterday, with the award ceremony, set from July 4 to 6 at the ‘100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit’ in Kigali, Rwanda 

Other notable Nigerians on the list include Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo, Tony Elumelu, Femi Otedola, footballer Victor Osimhen, Governor Umar Namadi, and Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. 

The peace icons are recognized for their contributions to peacebuilding, humanitarian efforts, and youth empowerment across Africa.

The summit will focus on leadership, governance, business growth, and sustainable development on the continent.
