The highly anticipated reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, is set to return for its ninth season with an exciting lineup and grand prizes.
This year’s winner will walk away with a grand prize of ₦100 million and a brand-new SUV.
The announcement was made by Busola Tejumola, MultiChoice’s Executive Head of Content and West Africa Channels, during a news conference held yesterday in Lagos.
Tejumola disclosed that the show would run for 71 days, starting from July 28 and concluding on October 6. In an interesting twist, housemates will enter the house in pairs and participate in some of the house challenges as pairs, adding a new layer of strategy and collaboration to the competition.
Tope Oshunkeye, MultiChoice’s Head of Marketing, also unveiled some of the engaging activities planned for this season. Among these is the “Lock-in” game, which will allow viewers to predict the winners of the immunity challenges. Each viewer with a correct prediction stands a chance to win ₦1 million, making the viewing experience even more interactive and rewarding.
