The Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has assured that serious preparations are ongoing ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics amidst rumours of inactivity.

A Press Release signed by the Secretary-General of the Federation, Rita Mosindi, emphasized its commitment to ensuring Nigeria’s representation at the global sporting event, acknowledging the support from the sports ministry, including funding allocated for the world relays.

Mosindi highlighted the scheduled interview dates set by the American embassy in Abuja for athletes and officials, recognizing Nigeria’s position among the 32 qualified nations.
