Asisat Oshoala and Chiamaka Nnadozie have been listed among the final ten nominees for the CAF women’s Player of the Year award, ahead of the 2023 CAF awards scheduled to be held in Marrakech, Morocco, on December 11.
CAF revealed this via its X account yesterday.
In 2022, Oshoala beat Zambia’s Grace Chanda and Ajara Nchout Njoya of Cameroon to claim the CAF Women’s Player of the Year award for the fifth time.
Meanwhile, Super Falcons head coach Randy Waldrum has been nominated for the coach of the year category, while Deborah Abiodun and Esther Ajakaye made it as finalists for the Best Young Player of the Year.
The Super Falcons team also made it as finalist for the women’s national team of the year.
