The result means Arsenal, on 74 points, are just four points away from Manchester City who have a game in hand.

Other results from the weekend’s fixtures saw Manchester City beat Leicester City 3-1, Manchester United beat Nottingham Forest 2-nil, Aston Villa beat Newcastle United 3-nil, and Chelsea lost 2-1 to Brighton.
