The Gunners sit 15 points behind runaway leaders Liverpool, now with just one game in hand.

Liverpool had secured a 3-1 win against relegation bound Southampton to inch even closer to the title.

Other results saw Nottingham Forest beat Manchester City 1-nil, Chelsea claimed a 1-nil win over Leicester city to go fourth, Tottenham drew 2-2 against Bournemouth, while Aston Villa beat Brentford 1-nil

Other results see Crystal Palace beat Ipswich 1-nil, Brighton beat Fulham 2-1, Wolves and Everton ended 1-1, while West Ham would host Newcastle tonight to wrap up the round of 28 matches.
