The whole main cast of the new series, along with a few extra A-list actors dressed in bright and charming outfits, attended the premiere, which took place at the Sheraton Hotel in Ikeja. The epic series Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre will debut on Netflix in more than 190 countries on March 1.

During the premiere, Kunle Afolayan, the series’ producer and director, expressed gratitude to everyone who had a part in the show’s success.

“Anikulapo: Rise of the Spectre has been in development for eight years, and at last, it is here,” he stated.

“I would especially like to express my gratitude to “Olodumare” for his grace, wisdom, and knowledge. I would want to express my gratitude to my cast and crew for their unwavering support, belief in the dream, and faith in me.

“Maami, I want to thank you for the day and night prayers. God bless you.

“I would like to express my gratitude to all of our supporters and everyone who helped make today possible.”

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), the television show continues where the film left off, focusing on the lives of Saro and his spouse. The enigmatic bird Akala, who brought Saro (Kunle Remi) back to life in the previous installment, is also returning, though not quite as amiable as the populace had hoped.

The series will explore the themes of betrayal, revenge, and the fight for ultimate power. The series was shot at the Kunle Afolayan Production (KAP) Film Village in Komu-Igbojaye, Oyo State, with a cast and crew of 600 people.
