Nas Grieves Over Death Of Belly Actor Louie Rankin

The "Original Don Dada" Louie Rankin, was reported to have died in a fatal car accident on Monday in Ontario, Canada. Following the news of his death, Nas took to Instagram to memorialize his late friend with two photos of them together on Khaled’s video set.

“Louie Rankin,” he wrote in the caption. “Great working with this man. A legend. In Belly you stole the show. “ You Wana Rump with bombaclot me??!” In @djkhaled video Nas Album Done, your presence was super live wire much needed. RIP Don Dada.”

Nas Breaks Silnce with LP The Lost Tapes 2


It took 17 years, but Nas has finally released a sequel to his critically acclaimed Lost Tapes. The Lost Tapes 2 features tracks that didn’t make the cut on 2006’s Hip Hop Is Dead, 2008’s Untitled, 2012’s Life Is Good and last year’s Nasir.


Nas’ new project is comprised of 16 tracks. Production is handled by some of Hip Hop’s top beatmakers, including Kanye West, Pete Rock, The Alchemist, Pharrell, No I.D. and Hit-Boy.

Nas Explores Literary World With Soon To Be Released Children’s Book I Know I can

Nas will be adding authorial success to his repertoire of success in the entertainment industry with his children’s book I Know I Can. The book is a reference to Nas’ classic 2003 song “I Can” from his God’s Son album. No release date for the book has been announced. The Grammy Award nominated artist and Co-founder of Mass Appeal records announced the release of his children’s book I Know I Can illustrated by Michael Lukowski on Instagram .
