fbpx J. Cole Releases Album Of The Year Freestyle | The Beat 99.9 FM

After telling Twitter to feed him beats because everything getting murdered, the Dreamville founder has released a new video for a freestyle titled Album Of The Year directed by Simon David. Barely 24 hours later his tweet, we’re blessed with some new heat. Out of nowhere, Cole decides to rap on Nas and The Bravehearts’ 2001 Ooochie Wally instrumental.

 

Cole also teased a new project The Off Season in the caption for Album Of The Year (Freestyle), though not much in the way of details are currently available. He declare his latest album the best this year on the new track, as he raps “KOD, album of the year, undebatably”. KOD dropped back in April and debuted at the number one spot on the US Billboard 200 and also broke streaming records on both Spotify and Apple Music.
